Getting around
Most journeys in Anguilla are by taxi or hire car. Taxi fares are fixed by a published rate guide rather than a meter, and a driver's Transport Board licence costs EC$200 a year. Hiring a car means buying a temporary Anguillian licence — US$25 for three months, or US$15 for three days — and driving on the left. Ferries leave Blowing Point for Marigot on the French side of St Martin at US$30 one way, and less often for Philipsburg on the Dutch side at US$35.
