Great Bay Beach

Philipsburg's long town beach, running directly alongside the capital's palm-lined boardwalk with the cruise port at its eastern end. Calm, sheltered water makes it an easy swim, and you can step straight off the sand into cafes, shops and the duty-free stores of Front Street. It is the liveliest beach on the island on cruise-ship days.
