A beloved Spanish-style bakery, deli and cafeteria that has anchored the Ocean Park neighbourhood since 1966. Locals queue at the long glass counters for quesitos, mallorcas, turnovers and strong café con leche, and the pressed Cubano sandwiches earned national fame when President Obama dropped in for one in 2011. It is an everyday institution — part bakery, part deli, part neighbourhood meeting place — open from early morning into the evening.
