Getting around Martinique

Martinique runs its public transport under one authority, Martinique Transport, based in Fort-de-France. Bus networks cover the centre, north and south of the island, the TCSP busway runs on its own dedicated lanes, and maritime shuttles link towns across the bays — each network publishes its own timetables and fares.

How it works

Bus networks

Three regional networks — centre, north and south — run the island's bus lines under Martinique Transport; timetables live on each network's own portal.

TCSP busway

A bus-rapid-transit line on dedicated lanes serves the Fort-de-France area, with extensions planned.

Sea shuttles

Maritime shuttles cross the bays between coastal towns — often the quickest way across, and a scenic one.
