Getting around St Martin

The Collectivité runs a local bus circuit around Concordia at a flat €1 a trip, leaving the Gare routière from 5:30am; a wider island-wide scheme was still being worked out with Sint Maarten's transport ministry at the end of 2024. The Collectivité also publishes the territory's official taxi tariff, last updated in February 2025, which varies with the time of day, the number of passengers and the luggage. The taxi stands in Marigot and Grand Case answer from 7am to 7pm.

How it works

The Concordia circuit

A flat €1 a trip, leaving the Gare routière from 5:30am and serving Concordia and the streets around it.

The official taxi tariff

The Collectivité publishes the tariff that applies across the territory, last updated on 6 February 2025. Rates change by time of day, by how many people are travelling and by luggage.

Taxi stands

Marigot (0590 77 87 62) and Grand Case (0590 77 87 26) are staffed from 7am to 7pm for bookings and fare questions.

A wider network is coming

The Collectivité and Sint Maarten's TEATT ministry met in November 2024 to work together on an urban transport scheme for the whole island.
