Wallblake House
Things to do · The Valley, Anguilla
Built in 1787 by sugar planter Will Blake, Wallblake House is said to be the oldest structure on Anguilla and the island's only surviving plantation house. The restored estate keeps its original kitchen complex, stables and workers' quarters, along with a bakery and cistern. It serves as the rectory for the neighbouring St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church and also hosts art shows and community events; tours can be arranged and are best organised in advance.
