Trunk Bay
Beach · St. John (St. Thomas–St. John District), United States Virgin Islands
A crescent of white sand and clear turquoise water inside Virgin Islands National Park, and the most photographed beach on St. John. Its marked underwater snorkel trail lets swimmers follow plaques along the reef, and the overlook from the North Shore Road above is a classic island view. Showers, changing rooms, lifeguards and a snack bar make it an easy full-day stop, with a small per-person amenity fee collected at the gate.
