Magens Bay

A mile-long curve of soft sand on the north side of St. Thomas, sheltered by green headlands so the water stays calm and family-friendly. Shaded picnic groves, a beach bar and gentle swimming make it the island's most popular beach for both locals and cruise visitors. The surrounding land is a protected preserve, and the drive down from the Drake's Seat overlook is part of the experience.
