Christiansted National Historic Site
Things to do · St. Croix (St. Croix District), United States Virgin Islands
A cluster of preserved Danish colonial buildings on the Christiansted waterfront, anchored by the yellow walls of Fort Christiansvaern. The site takes in the Steeple Building, Scale House, Customs House and Danish West India & Guinea Company warehouse, all within an easy self-guided stroll. It is the best single place to feel St. Croix's 18th-century sugar-and-trade history.
