Cane Garden Bay Beach

A long, palm-backed sweep of sand on Tortola's north shore, cradled by steep green hills and lapped by calm, swimmable water most of the year. Casual beachfront restaurants and water-sports rentals line the bay, and the historic Callwood rum distillery sits just up the road. When winter swells arrive, the bay also produces some of the island's best-known surf.
