Lower Bay Beach

A wide, sandy village beach on the southern curve of Admiralty Bay, a little further from town than Princess Margaret Beach and correspondingly quieter. Gentle, swimmable water and a handful of laid-back local restaurants and guesthouses give it an easy, unhurried feel. It is a favourite with families and with visitors who want a full beach day rather than a quick dip.
