Every evening the southeastern rim of the Savannah turns into Port of Spain's favourite open-air food court, with vendors selling corn soup, doubles, roast corn, barbecue and fresh coconut water straight from the nut. It is a decades-old lime where families, joggers and office workers meet as the day cools. Come hungry and graze from cart to cart the way locals do.
