Terms of use
The terms for using Averko, for visitors, residents and businesses.
Who may use Averko
Anyone may browse Averko without an account. Creating an account requires accurate information and the legal capacity to accept these terms; if you are a minor in your country, you need a parent or guardian's consent. An account is personal — you are responsible for what happens under it.
Accounts and security
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You can review and end your active sessions from your account settings, and you should tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after review, and suspension is recorded with its reason.
Acceptable use
Use Averko as a visitor would: to find, plan, review and book. Do not scrape or bulk-harvest the catalogue, misrepresent who you are, post content you have no right to post, attempt to bypass rate limits or security boundaries, or interfere with other people's use of the service.
Listings, suggestions, and content
When you contribute content — a review, a photo, a suggestion, a correction — you keep ownership and grant Averko a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for display and moderate it as part of the service. By uploading a photo you confirm that you took it or have the right to share it; no separate licence statement is asked of you. Contributions pass through review before publication and may be removed when they break these terms or our content standards. If something on Averko infringes your rights or shows you without your consent, tell us through Help & feedback or the Report link beside the photo, naming the page and the item: we take content down on request from the rights holder or the person shown, normally within two working days, and we tell the person who posted it. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish about themselves.
Rights notices, counter-notices and repeat infringers
If you believe a photo, review or other contribution on Averko infringes your copyright, or shows you without your consent, send us a rights notice: use the Report link beside the item, or Help & feedback marked “Rights notice”, and tell us the page, the item, who you are and how to reach you, why you hold the rights or are the person shown, and that you are asking in good faith. We remove or hide the item normally within two working days of a complete notice and record the removal with its reason; the person who posted it sees the removal and the reason in their Studio or their correction history. If they believe the notice is wrong they may send a counter-notice through Help & feedback within ten working days, saying why they have the right to post it. We pass it to the person who complained, and if that person does not tell us within ten further working days that they are taking the matter further, we may put the item back. An account that receives three upheld rights notices within twelve months has its later uploads refused and may be suspended after review; each of these decisions is recorded with its reason. A dedicated address for rights notices will be published in this section once our launch domain is confirmed.
Bookings
A booking request on Averko is a request, not a reservation, until the business confirms it. Averko takes no payment for a booking: if a business asks for a deposit or any other payment, it tells you how to pay it directly, and Averko never holds, receives or transfers that money or takes a commission on it. Cancellations, changes and refunds are a matter between you and the business; contact them first, and use Help & feedback if you cannot reach them.
Quotes, invoices and paying a business
A business can send you a quote or an invoice through Averko. The document is the business’s, not ours: it sets the prices, the tax and the terms, and it is answerable for them. A quote is a price, not a debt — nothing is owed until it becomes an invoice. How to pay appears only on an invoice that still has money outstanding, and it is written by the business: its own bank account, an alias on an instant payment scheme, or a page it links to. Averko does not verify those details, never holds, receives or transfers the money, and takes no commission on it. Paying is a matter between you and the business, so check that you recognise who you are paying before you send anything; showing a payment instruction is not a recommendation or a guarantee of it. A document link works for anybody holding it, so a business should send it only to its customer, and it can withdraw a link at any time. If you send a receipt or a screenshot with an invoice, it is something for the business to look at and not a payment: only the business records what it has been paid, and the invoice stays outstanding until it does. Refunds, disputes and anything else about the money are between you and the business; contact them first, and use Help & feedback if you cannot reach them.
Business accounts and paid plans
A claimed business manages its page through the Business Studio. Paid plans are business software: the till, reports, documents, page design and room for more branches, team members and businesses. They never include advertising or a better place in search. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in US dollars, in one of two ways. A plan paid by card through Paddle renews automatically: the card is charged at the start of each new period, at the price you signed up for, until you stop it. A plan paid through WiPay is a prepaid term: it ends on the date shown, is never charged again on its own, and returns to the free tier when it lapses. You can stop a renewing plan at any time from Plan & billing; how to stop it, and when we give money back, is set out in our refund and cancellation policy at /terms/refunds. You are responsible for the prices, hours and claims you publish, for the accuracy of any payment details you put on your quotes and invoices, and for your right to collect money the way those details describe.
Buying a plan through Paddle
Business Studio plans, and the extra team members, branches and businesses added to them, are sold through Paddle when you pay by card. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase, Paddle emails the receipt, and the charge appears on your statement under Paddle's name. Advertising and event promotion are not sold through Paddle: AVERKO AI sells them directly, they are paid through WiPay, and they are never part of a plan.
Sponsored content
Sponsored placements are always labelled. Advertising on Averko is governed by the advertising policy documents published at /policies, which every advertiser accepts before serving; ads are reviewed before they run, and an ad may only send you to a published Averko page or to a destination domain we have verified.
Liability and disclaimers
Averko is a directory, provided as-is. We work to keep listings verified and current, but businesses change and we do not guarantee any listing, price, availability or outcome. Averko is not a party to any booking or transaction between you and a business. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid Averko in the twelve months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados.
Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned by date. When the terms change materially we will show the new version in the app; continuing to use Averko after the stated effective date means you accept the change. The version you accepted at sign-up is recorded with your account.
