A shallow inland lagoon in southwestern Providenciales scattered with hundreds of small rocky islands, its water an almost unreal milky turquoise created by sunlight on fine limestone sand. On calm days it is one of the best places in the islands to kayak or paddleboard among the cays. Sightseers can take in the colours from Chalk Sound Drive, which runs along the southern shore.
