A beautifully kept former coffee and cocoa plantation on the right bank of the Commewijne River, declared a monument in 2004. Guests sleep in restored plantation buildings and cabanas, dine at the plantation restaurant, and join boat, bike and birdwatching tours into the surrounding polders and mangroves. Arrival is part of the charm: the estate is reached by boat across the river.
