Oriole Walkway Trail (Centre Hills)

The most popular hike in the protected Centre Hills forest, climbing about 1.3 miles from the trailhead near Woodlands to a clearing near the top of Lawyer's Mountain at around 1,287 feet. The moderate ascent of roughly two hours passes through lush rainforest that shelters the Montserrat oriole, the island's national bird — go with a local guide for the best chance of seeing one. The Centre Hills hold most of the island's marked trails and its richest concentration of endemic wildlife.
