Réserve Naturelle Nationale de Saint-Martin

Parks & Nature · Saint Martin, Saint Martin

A national nature reserve created in 1998, protecting about 3,000 hectares of sea and coastline along the island's north-east. It safeguards coral reefs, seagrass beds, mangroves, ponds and dry coastal forest, and takes in Pinel islet, Tintamarre and the snorkelling site of Rocher Créole. Marked mooring and visiting rules keep turtles, rays and reef life thriving.
