Orient Bay Beach (Baie Orientale)

A long arc of white sand on the island's east coast, often called the busiest and best-loved beach on the French side. Beach clubs, watersports operators and casual restaurants line the shore, a stretch at the southern tip is traditionally clothing-optional, and the offshore reef draws snorkellers. The village behind the beach has shops and cafes, making it easy to spend a whole day here.
