Îlet Pinel (Pinel Island)

A small uninhabited islet a few hundred metres off Cul-de-Sac, reached by a short ferry hop or by kayak. It lies inside the national nature reserve, so its shallow, clear water and marked snorkel trail stay full of fish and the occasional turtle. A calm swimming beach faces the mainland, with the wilder side left to seabirds.
