Sugar Beach (Anse des Pitons)

A white-sand beach set in the Val des Pitons on the southwest coast, directly between Petit Piton and Gros Piton. The backdrop is one of the most photographed views in the Caribbean, and the clear water over the nearby reef makes for rewarding swimming and snorkelling. The beach fronts a resort, but like all Saint Lucian beaches the sand itself is public, and many visitors arrive by water taxi from Soufrière.
