Anse Chastanet Beach

A quieter beach north of Soufrière backed by steep rainforest hills, where a coral reef begins just metres from the shoreline. It is widely regarded as the island's best easy snorkelling spot, with a dive operation right on the sand and the Pitons in view down the coast. The access road is steep and winding, so many visitors come across by water taxi from Soufrière town.
