St. Kitts Scenic Railway
Things to do · St Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis
A narrow-gauge sightseeing train that runs on track laid between 1912 and 1926 to haul sugar cane to the central mill in Basseterre. Double-deck open-air carriages loop around the northern coast of St Kitts past villages, cane fields and sea cliffs, with the ride departing from Needsmust station near the airport. It is one of the last railways of its kind in the Caribbean and a signature way to see the island.
