Green Grotto Caves

A large limestone show cave between Runaway Bay and Discovery Bay whose chambers sheltered Taino people, Spanish soldiers and rum smugglers over the centuries. Guided walks descend past stalactites, resident bats and shafts of light to a crystal-clear underground lake on the lower level. Walkways and lighting make it an accessible taste of Jamaica's underground.
