Number 63 Beach

This wide Atlantic beach on the Corentyne coast is the best-known seaside spot in Berbice, named for the village behind it. At low tide the firm brown sand stretches far out, making room for cricket games, kite flying and long walks, and on weekends families arrive with picnics while vendors sell snacks nearby. A government beautification upgrade launched in 2025 aims to develop it into a flagship recreation spot for the region.
