Iwokrama Canopy Walkway

A chain of suspension bridges and viewing decks hangs about 30 metres up in the rainforest canopy of the Iwokrama Forest, beside Atta Rainforest Lodge on the Georgetown-Lethem road. From the platforms visitors watch toucans, howler monkeys and, with luck, sloths moving through the treetops, especially in the soft light of dawn and dusk. It is one of the easiest ways to experience the heart of Guyana's pristine interior forest.
