A sheltered horseshoe bay on Terre-de-Haut in the Les Saintes archipelago, reached by an easy walk from the village and closed off from the open sea by the rocky Roches Percées. The water is shallow and glassy, ideal for wading and gentle snorkelling, and the shore is lined with picnic tables under the trees where the island's famously bold goats and roosters patrol for crumbs.
