Jardin botanique de Deshaies

A lush landscaped botanical park in the hills above Deshaies, laid out on the former property of the French comedian Coluche. A looping path passes koi ponds, a waterfall, flamboyant trees and orchid displays, with walk-through aviaries where lorikeets land on visitors' hands and a hillside restaurant overlooking the grounds. It is an easy half-day pairing with Grande Anse beach nearby.
