Cascade aux Écrevisses
Parks & Nature · Basse-Terre island, Guadeloupe
A small, pretty waterfall on the Corossol river just off the Route de la Traversée, the road that crosses Basse-Terre's rainforest interior. A short, flat, partly accessible path leads from the car park to the falls and their natural pool in only a few minutes, which makes it one of the most visited spots in the national park. It suits young children and anyone wanting a rainforest moment without a real hike.
