Morne Rouge Beach (BBC Beach)

Tucked into a sheltered crescent just over the headland from Grand Anse, Morne Rouge — known locally as BBC Beach — is about half a mile of white sand with notably calm, shallow water. Its lazy waves make it one of the island's most relaxed swimming spots for children. It stays quieter than its famous neighbour, with a handful of casual bars and restaurants close by.
