A nearly four-kilometre sweep of pale sand near Las Galeras that has stayed almost entirely free of buildings. Most visitors arrive by boat from Las Galeras or bump in by 4x4, then split the day between calm swimming water and the cool freshwater of Caño Frío at the beach's far end. Simple fish shacks grill the day's catch under the coconut palms.
