The north-coast town beach famous for wind: steady afternoon trade winds make it one of the Caribbean's best-known kiteboarding and windsurfing spots. Mornings are calm enough for swimming, and the sand is lined with schools, cafes and restaurants that spill onto the beach at sunset. Neighbouring Kite Beach hosts the more advanced riders.
