Dominica's UNESCO World Heritage rainforest park covers nearly 69 square kilometres of volcanic peaks, crater lakes and steaming fumaroles in the island's mountainous interior. Within its bounds lie the famous Boiling Lake, the otherworldly Valley of Desolation, Freshwater Lake and some of the Caribbean's best hiking. Trails range from short strolls to full-day treks, all under a canopy alive with parrots and hummingbirds.
