Mero Beach

Mero is Dominica's best-loved stretch of silver-grey volcanic sand, sitting on the calm Caribbean coast about half an hour north of Roseau. The water is usually gentle and clear, good for swimming and easy snorkelling, and a row of casual beach bars sits just behind the sand. On cruise-ship days and weekends it fills with both locals and visitors, giving it a friendly village-lime atmosphere.
