In the Kalinago Territory on the wild east coast, this cultural village by the sea introduces visitors to the Caribbean's last remaining indigenous Kalinago community. Guided walks pass traditional buildings including the large karbet meeting house, craft demonstrations of basket weaving and canoe building, a herbal garden and the cascades where the Crayfish River meets the sea. Dance and drum performances bring the living culture to the fore, and handmade crafts are sold on site.
