Emerald Pool

A gentle 15-minute rainforest walk leads to this grotto where a slender waterfall drops into a pool that really does glow green under the filtered forest light. Ferns and moss drape the surrounding rocks, and swimmers can slip into the cool water beneath the fall. Part of the Morne Trois Pitons World Heritage park, it is one of the most accessible pieces of wild Dominica, suitable for nearly all ages.
