Champagne Reef and Beach

Just south of Pointe Michel, volcanic vents on the seabed release streams of warm bubbles, so snorkelling here genuinely feels like swimming through a glass of champagne. The pebbly shoreline gives way to a reef busy with tropical fish, sponges and the occasional turtle or seahorse. A boardwalk leads to the water entry, and guides and snorkel gear are available on site, making it Dominica's signature ocean experience.
