Viñales Valley National Park
Parks & Nature · main island of Cuba, Cuba
A UNESCO-listed valley where sheer limestone mogotes rise out of red-earth tobacco fields still worked largely by hand and oxen. Visitors hike or ride horses between family farms, watch cigars being rolled, and explore caves such as Cueva del Indio with its underground river. The village of Viñales, with its colonnaded porches and guesthouses, makes an easy base.
