Varadero Beach
Beach · main island of Cuba, Cuba
Roughly twenty kilometres of soft white sand run along the narrow Hicacos Peninsula, making this Cuba's best-known beach destination. Calm, shallow turquoise water makes swimming easy, and the strip mixes large resorts with public beach access, watersports and the leafy Josone Park. The town at its base keeps a local rhythm with markets, cafes and craft stalls.
