Playa Ancón
Beach · main island of Cuba, Cuba
A roughly four-kilometre ribbon of pale sand on the Ancón Peninsula, about twenty minutes from colonial Trinidad. The water is usually calm and clear, with boat trips out to nearby reefs for snorkelling and quieter stretches if you wander down the curve. Many visitors pair a morning in Trinidad's old town with an afternoon swim here.
