El Floridita
Food & Drink · main island of Cuba, Cuba
An elegant salmon-pink corner bar at the end of Calle Obispo, trading since 1817 and celebrated as the cradle of the daiquiri. A life-size bronze of Ernest Hemingway leans on the marble bar where he drank, while red-jacketed bartenders and live musicians keep the mid-century atmosphere intact. A seafood restaurant behind the bar makes it a longer stop if you wish.
