Havana's beloved 'cathedral of ice cream', a flying-saucer-shaped pavilion set in its own park at 23rd and L streets in Vedado, scooping for habaneros since 1966. Queueing with locals under the trees is part of the experience, and the futuristic 1966 building is a landmark of Cuban modernist architecture in its own right. It famously appears in the opening scenes of the film Fresa y Chocolate.
