Placencia Beach

Beach · Stann Creek District, Belize

The Placencia Peninsula holds the longest stretch of sand on mainland Belize, running past Maya Beach and Seine Bight down to laid-back Placencia Village. The golden beach faces calm, clear Caribbean water, and the village end mixes barefoot restaurants, craft stalls and the famous narrow sidewalk. It is also the jumping-off point for snorkel trips to Laughing Bird Caye and the Silk Cayes.
