Hopkins Beach
Beach · Stann Creek District, Belize
A long, natural ribbon of sand fronting the Garifuna village of Hopkins, where fishing boats, drumming schools and small beach cafes share the shoreline. The water is warm and swimmable, crowds are thin, and the Maya Mountains rise inland behind the village. It is one of the best places in Belize to pair beach time with living Garifuna culture.
