Lucayan National Park
Parks & Nature · Grand Bahama, Bahamas
A compact national park on Grand Bahama protecting one of the longest charted underwater cave systems in the world, with two caverns — Ben's Cave and Burial Mound Cave — reachable by short footpaths. Boardwalk trails cross pine forest and a mangrove creek before spilling out onto Gold Rock Beach. Remains of the island's original Lucayan inhabitants were discovered in one of the caves, giving the park genuine archaeological significance.
