Things to do · Bonaire — Kralendijk waterfront, Caribbean Netherlands
This compact archaeology museum on Kralendijk's waterfront walks visitors through seven thousand years of Bonairean and wider Caribbean history in a beautifully restored historic building. Displays follow a Caribbean timeline, mixing genuine artifacts from the island's first Caquetío inhabitants with colonial-era finds, and an upstairs gallery covers the slavery period. It pairs naturally with a stroll to nearby Fort Oranje and the harbour promenade, and a visit takes about an hour.
