Morne de Vitet

Parks & Nature · Saint-Barthélemy, Saint Barthelemy

At 286 metres, this green hill in the east is the highest point of Saint-Barthélemy, climbed by quiet country lanes and footpaths from the village of Vitet. From the summit the island unfolds below, from Gustavia's harbour to the turquoise lagoon of Grand Cul-de-Sac, with Saint Martin and Anguilla visible on clear days. It is a moderately demanding walk best started early, before the heat of the day.
