Fort Zoutman Historical Museum
Things to do · Oranjestad, Aruba
Aruba's oldest building, a Dutch colonial fort completed in 1798 on the Oranjestad waterfront, joined by the Willem III clock tower added in 1868. Together they house the Historical Museum of Aruba, which traces the island's story from its earliest inhabitants through the colonial era. Every Tuesday evening the fort's courtyard hosts the Bon Bini Festival, a folkloric music and dance welcome that has run for decades.
