Conchi Natural Pool

A sheltered saltwater pool ringed by volcanic rock on Arikok National Park's wild windward coast, where waves crash over the outer barrier while the water inside stays swimmable. Reaching it is half the adventure: the pool is accessible only by 4x4, horseback or a sturdy hike, followed by a scramble down rocky steps. Small fish, crabs and corals live in the clear water, and the setting feels wonderfully remote.
