Ayo Rock Formations
Things to do · Santa Cruz, Aruba
A cluster of giant diorite boulders rising unexpectedly from Aruba's flat interior near the village of Ayo, stacked into towers that visitors thread through on marked paths and stairways. The Arawak people once used the site for shelter and rituals, and their reddish-brown petroglyphs can still be seen on the rock faces. Lookout points between the boulders give wide views over the countryside toward Hooiberg.
