Princess Diana Beach

Beach · Barbuda, Antigua and Barbuda

Stretching about three kilometres along Barbuda's sheltered southern shore at Coco Point, this beach is famous for sand that can take on a soft pink tinge from the tiny shells of marine microorganisms. It was renamed in 2011 in honour of Princess Diana, who often visited the island. The water is shallow, warm and remarkably calm, and the beach remains blissfully undeveloped, so visitors should bring their own shade and water.
